The Art program at BAICA strives to encourage students to become their own masters by teaching them the basic elements and principles of art such as line, color, form, shape, symmetry, repetition, unity and texture.
Students are given the opportunity to experiment with a wide range of art media and techniques.
The ideas for classroom projects are generated from stories, famous artists (i.e. Picasso, Van Gogh, Monet, Klee, Delaunay, Keith Haring), different cultures of the world, animals, insects, landscapes, self portraits, (just to name a few) and from imagination.
All art projects are thought out carefully to match the children’s level of ability, so that they can express themselves freely. No matter what the child is set out to do, each one is able to come up with his or her own unique imprint!
